My fiance and I just picked up our caique! The whole experience was wonderful and Erika made everything so easy. She is very sweet and takes her time with you and wants you to make the best choice. No pressure at all. She provides all information and is very informative. She makes sure the birds have their testing done to make sure the bird is healthy. I have to say I am so beyond in love with feather headz aviary. Erika helped me decide on the baby I wanted to bring home as I was in between two different birds. She was so helpful from the moment I called her the first time throughout the entire process and even after I brought my baby home. She is so easy to communicate with and so knowledgeable and really wants to make sure all her babies end up in the best homes and situation possible and you can tell by how engages she is with each of her customers. When I went to pick up my new baby gray, she showed me her nursery and all the babies were so well taken care of. She genuinely puts all of her love into these babies and you can tell by the babies that she produces. I am so excited to see my baby grow and I will be forever grateful to feather headz. All of her birds are hand raised in beautiful Florida sunshine and come with health certs. We got our beautiful baby Moluccan Cockatoo from Erika about two weeks ago and the whole experience could not have been better. Remarkably, Erika offers delivery of birds to your door or nearest airport. Flight Nanny Amy met us at Minneapolis Airport with the parrot in a travel carrier and within an hour our baby boy was safely in his new home. From start to finish we found Erika to be super communicative and attentive to our questions and concerns. Erika is a true passionate professional. Erika, the owner, and I chatted A LOT and she never complained. Instead she listened to my concerns, excitement, worry, and she fielded every question with her profound bird knowledge. To say she is devoted to her birds is an understatement. Her babies are cared for physically and emotionally, 24/7. After witnessing firsthand how she treats her parrots, I realized she treated me, her customer, exactly the same. Finding a reputable bird breeder is hard, and that’s why I put all of my trust into her, and flew 1200 miles to adopt specifically from Feather Headz Aviary. I 100% recommend this company!! I just adopted my baby umbrella cockatoo from this amazing aviary and I am so glad I did!! Yet, my cockatoo, is so happy and healthy and has the sweetest personality. I highly recommend Feather Headz Aviary. Erika hand raised my female Eclectus. I was able to pick her up and tour Erika’s extensive aviary, which is part of her home. Her birds are so well cared for and well socialized by living around Erika’s family and pets. Erika did such an amazing job with my bird that at only 19 weeks old she had no fear of dogs or new surroundings on the first day home. Erika is like a bird whisperer. She told me exactly what to do to get my bird to bond with me, including playing a specific song what the bird instantly reacted to by nuzzling up to my neck. Erika pays attention to every detail about her birds. Our bird was already weaned onto the proper specialized healthy diet for her species and Erika has been so amazing with information and advice. She has been available day and night to answer every question. This experience was better than I could have imagined. We love our little Lucile. Thank you Erika!

I picked my sweet baby up from the airport yesterday. She is absolutely adorable!! I one hundred percent recommend this company. I will never use a different breeder. Erika was amazing the whole time. She would video chat with me anytime I would ask her to that way I could see the bird. She answered all of my million questions and would text me daily. She is very knowledgeable. She really cared for each bird. She sent me links to all the healthy food that’s she feeds the birds. I had my sweet baby delivered to the airport with her chaperon service. The chaperon was so sweet and sent me pictures of them at the airport and on the plane. My overall experience was the total best.

Hi Erika! It’s been 5 days since my new Mom and Dad picked me up and brought me to my new forever home. They keep calling me “Lucy” and say “I Love Lucy” in a funny voice all the time. Because of you, I’m adjusting really well! I’m really playful and I love all my new toys. Mom’s kept me on my pellet and all veggie diet that you had me on and by the way, thanks for giving her a bag to go home with! Because you told my new parents how much I love to be snuggled and perch on shoulders I get to do that a lot. They also have a nice screened in back patio that remind me of back home. Mom appreciates you texting back and forth, 24/7, sorry if she keeps sending pics-she’s taking them all the time. My Dad asks me for kisses. I’ve given him more than a few. I’m glad you got me used to being around dogs because they have a few, they’re all super chill and I feel part of their pack. I’m sitting in between my new Mom and Dad now, he’s watching football and Mom’s typing what I chirp. I know my Mom will stay in touch. I have found Feather Headz Aviary to be the Very Best Breeder of Birds to deal with. My breeder of 25 plus years ago passed several years ago and I was looking to buy another African Grey. I went online and was thrown by all those claiming to have parrots for sale at low prices. After speaking with a couple I contacted Erica at Feather Headz. She made me very comfortable from the beginning. I have trust issues when it comes to giving someone online money for services but I took a Change with Erica. To make a long story short. Erika made the whole thing so easy from arranging for Charlie to be delivered to me to staying with me with her guidance, and continues help once I received him. Not once has she disappointed. Today Someone stole Charlie from my truck when I ran into the gas station. I came out and he was gone. I called Erika because she continued to be in Charlie’s life. After explaining what happened she immediately began to let me know what I needed to do to try to locate him. She went on Facebook and notified all concerned who could be of help. She spent endless time helping me to try to find Charlie. As the day wore on we stayed in constant touch. Finally, I got a call that he had been found. The joy in her voice, and in my hear is too much to describe. I didn’t meant to go one and one with my story, but if you or anyone you know is looking to buy a bird, I could not recommend not one better or trust worthy then Feather Headz. And for those reading this, I am a diehard when it comes to trusting those on sites that are selling products of any kind.

Erika exceeded all my expectations! I just took delivery of a beautiful male Green Wing Macaw and a female African Grey from Erika and I could not be any happier. About a month ago, I was in the market for a baby bird. I wasn’t 100% sure what species would be right for me and with so many scammers in the bird industry, I was hesitant. I stumbled upon Feather Headz on Facebook and sent a message inquiring about some birds. I expressed to Erika that I was a little unsure regarding what species would be the right match for me. She kindly offered to call me and answer my questions. We went over different species and what I was hoping for in a bird. I had a ton of questions and never once did I feel rushed. She took her time and explained everything in detail. Eventually, we came to the conclusion that Meyer Parrots were the birds for me. I made the 4 hour drive to pick up my babies and I couldn’t have been more pleased with what I saw. A clean environment and healthy, happy baby birds. Since bringing my parrots home, she has followed up with me several times. She has been available every step of the way and it’s so obvious that she takes a lot of care and pride in what she does. My babies are well adjusted and I cannot ask for better birds. I’m blown away by the quality and friendliness of my little ones. She gave me all the health paperwork and they are even gender tested. Ericka is god sent for birds! After driving 11 hours one way and got scammed we found FeatherHeadz and got into contact with Ericka. Within a week I flew to Miami and pickup up our African grey Buddy! Ericka is very responsive and helpful with the whole process and I feel she went out of her way to help us thru this process. Erica is so wonder and knowledgeable about all birds. She spent so much time answering all my crazy questions not even know if I was going to buy a bird. We ended up with a Boujee a Hybrid Cockatoo and when I tell you she is so loving, beautiful and speical, it's hard to explain. You can really tell that my bird was very hand raised, Erika spends countless hours with all the birds. Boujee wants to be loved and held all the time. I would not buy from anywhere else!! Take a vaca, fly to Florida and fly Delta home. It's SO worth it!

After the tragic loss of one of our sweet birds, we began to search for another sweet baby. Scam after scam is what I found. I came across a listing from a cockatoo in Miami, I was excited but very cautious. I contacted the breeder (featherheadz) I received a response very quickly. Via email Erika and I exchanged conversation. I was debating what to do when Erika contacted me back to let me know she was numerous potential individuals sending inquiries for the same bird, she wanted to make sure I was aware to not disappoint me if the bird was sold within the same day. Prior to this point, all conversations were via email. I shared with Erika my experience with scammers and why I was cautious to send a deposit. Erika was kind and beyond willing to help ease my mind to show she was not a scammer. She reached out to me over the phone, and she offered to video call me with the bird, I was able to verify her license, anything I asked Erika was willing to answer or provide information. After I put in my deposit she didn’t forget about me. She would often send me videos and photos of our citron cockatoo. The entire process was so smooth. Erika made us feel like a friend not just another customer. I went to her home to pick up the cockatoo. Everything was clean and beautiful. I know each bird she raises is raised in a “home” environment with lots of love and care. It was obvious that she not only feeds and cares for the birds she raises but she also works with them. Our citron was so loving and trained to step up. I would recommend.

Introducing our newest family member, Zazu Lightening White. We are very grateful we found Erica to help us with our adoption. As with all living creatures, our initial time immediately following birth is critical and pivotal and often determines our future. Erica was Zazu’s first mother providing all his loving, nurturing, and care. She was also extremely knowledgeable, with many years of aviary experience! Erica was willing to share all her expertise with future bird parents. She answered all our questions, calmed our nerves, and provided boundless patience. Erica eased the transition to Zazu’s new permanent home and continued her support. She maintains frequent contact and is accessible for any questions/concerns. She truly wants updates on our baby and cares for our entire family. We did extensive research to find a competent, reliable, and committed bird breed, and we struck gold with Erica.

Absolutely in love with my new baby caique from Erika. He’s a wonderful little bird and I couldn’t be happier. Erika was great, getting back to me quickly to answer any questions I had and happily met me at the airport, to bring him home. I took him to my vet the following day for his wellness checkup and even they were impressed with his temperament and socialization, just taking everything in his stride and playing with all the staff, as well as the fact that he had already been disease tested for everything they recommend. I would 100% recommend a from bird here.

Day 3 with Lenny and I must say this has been the most easiest, trust worthy experience I’ve had purchasing a pet online or in person. Erica has been so helpful, very knowledgeable and consistent with my million questions. My husband found Erika and asked me if I wanted to check out her birds as I was very sad our IRN passed away. I'm so glad we did! The home was clean and birds looked happy and healthy. She answered all our questions, gave us papers with info on our new Caique and some seeds/pellets. We took our new baby to get checked out and got a clean bill of health, no bacteria or poly virus common in these breeds. our Nico is a happy and thriving baby always keeping us smiling!
